Heartaches

The sky is so dark

Bkack and heavy with cloud

And soon there will be rain

But not as heavy as my heart

filled with misery and pain
Tears are falling from my eyes

Tears of longing just for you

Like raindrops falling from the skies

Dark with no trace of blue

Dark and dismal like my life

So empty now you've gone

The Rain will stop

The sun will shine

But my heartache will go on

THE HEALING PROCESS

I knew our love could never be Still i wasted so much time Loving you, hoping you'd love me and trying to make you mine But you've always belonged to another and I was too blind to see that no matter what i said or did you would never be set free So I'll gather up my broken heart pick my dreams up from the floor You're gone and you're not coming back nothing matters anymore I'll try to get through just one day one day spent without you maybe i'll try to smile again to start my life anew This pain I feel may start to fade a little more each day and I might find some happiness some blue in all this grey Somebody who will love me and help me to forget The years i've spent just loving you and the lifetime of regret

Why did you leave me With questions unanswered Why did you go With your story untold She told me about you Although I did not ask her The secret she'd guarded Since I was one year old She turned you from somebody I loved and trusted Into a person that I'll never know All the memories I took with me Out of my childhood Are locked in my mind now With no place to go What were you thinking When and if you touched her Was it fatherly friendship Were you hunting your prey If we meet in the next world All these questions i'll ask you But i'll wait and i'll wonder Until that fated day.
